the trick in this was the focus... no manipulation,, no photoshop stuff... the focus was on the 1st piece of wood..

and finally,,, this....

can't go there...

so as i said im gonna go to the Aquarium and mess with my baby canon.. so i got out of school, called my friend and fortunately he was awake... and he went with me..

he taught me on the Manual settings and how to use all the stuff from the shutter speed to the aperture to the iso to how to have a good photo... and he taught me panning.. though i couldnt do it well.. but i tried..  i  learned so much.. ! :D
BUT, the most annoying thing that my friend set the picture quality to normal quality and i didn't know ! *i'm angry* i didn't notice till i downloaded the photos on my laptop then i saw there were not as good as they should be.. and when i looked through the settings on the cam i was like " WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO!! " he told me he didn't know that there was a better setting... haha!

i tried the panning technique here well, it worked on this one,, but didn't work on like 50 other shots...

i don't know what they're called.. and didn't bother.. i was too busy fixing my iso and shutter speed and Aperture every time i was taking a shot.. ! hehe.. *talking like a pro* ..

but i just love my self silhouette so much.. i really do! :D i took so many other shots, but the lighting wasn't good enough and we were not allowed to use the flash too.. so this was a kind of a problem for us.. and this was it...

on a side note, the weather is getting better.. if it keeps like this, the dust will vanish by tomorrow Inshalla.. and i might go buy a tripod i found and it was about like $20 .. but i don't know if it matters or not on the tripod.. so i might take my friend's and go night shooting...
Since Monday the 25th is our National Day and the 26th is our Liberation Day from the invasion.. so decorations and lights are almost everywhere.. so i might go try my luck in some places...

yeaa,,, !!  this is what happened to me in the coffee seminar.. well,, this is the most interesting thing in the seminar,, hahaha.. he was one of the people sitting on the table.. when they started talkin and shit.. talkin about Kenyan coffee and arabic coffee from yemen... and this is not what i want to talk about ,, though it was something new i knew.. but i dont feel like talkin about it ! ;p

yea,, the british guy sitting infront of me in the table, he knew the staff there.. and he was makin jokes at them.. and he was talkin to one of them,, : " i'm going to you country next month " .. and the starbucks guy was from Nepal.. so the guy asked him where to.. i thought that he's one of the UN guys traveling around the world.. coz they do... but he said : " i'm going to mount Everest " .. and i was like huh?! what!! mount Everest?! ... so i jumped in the conversation and asked him : " you going to Everest? "

Mr.Paul : Yes..
Me: you going to the top?
Mr.Paul : No.. i'm going 5400 metres only..
Me: Oh,, that's Nice..

then he smiled.. then smiled ,, then i said again " No,, this is really Nice!! " ..then he smiled again,, then i said " Maybe i should take you signature for it " and he laughed..
so when this seminar ended,, and he made lots of jokes.. and and he was about to leave,, i went and asked him..

Me: Sir,, when i said i wanted your sig,, i meant i really want your sig..
Mr.Paul - laughing - : and why do you wanna take my sig. ? what's so important about it ??
Me: well,, because you are the person i met who is going the highest ! and it's for the record ... ;p
Mr.Paul : well,, ...

and he wanted to a starbucks i have.. but i gave him my Paulo Coelho Book .. , then he said: " Ohh,, Paulo Coelho.. he's good.. what did you read for him? "
Me: i only read the Alchemist.. it was amazing..
Mr.Paul: and you should read his book '11 minutes' .. but i can't write on that "

then he wrote me his flickr  ( in case you want to check it out )address and didn't sign,, then i said " sir,, your Signature " ,, then he said,, " well,, i dont know what you want with it.. ! " and smiled..

Me - after that i knew his name was Paul Hopkins -: "and You're British.. right?"
Mr.Paul: " Yea.. and your name is ? "
Me: "Abdulrahman" .. well,, he didn't seem to get my name well so i said " It's a Muslim's Name.. :) "

and then he shook my hands.. smiles.. thanks.. and the story ended Here.. ! =)

well,, in a stupid way,, i found it interesting to meet someone in my country who is going, or has gone to Everest... even though there is a Kuwaiti guy who is called Zed Al-Rifaie who has been to the summit.. but i didnt meet him because he's living in Switzerland or Dubai.. so i don't care.. ! :P

hahaha,, no really,, it's interesting.. ! i mean who will you meet in your life.. maybe Mr.Paul will someday to decide and go to the summit.. and i'll walk around sayin " I MET SOMEONE WHO HAS BEEN TO THE SUMMIT OF EVEREST "... haha who knows !!

and yea,, seems like i met a real Adventurer and a traveler.. seen his flickr,, and he's been to China and Africa.. Australia, Vietnam and Dubai... ! not to talk about almost all around Europe..

Ok,, so yesterday i didnt have a proper meal till my dinner,, woke up.. went out with my cousin to finish some paper work for his new car... then went to coffee bean and tea house and tried to taste a cheese club BUT IT SUCKED !!!
i ate some of it just to fill my stomach !! and i couldnt take more than the half of it... !!

Ok,,, so i went to the same place i went to yesterday... took more pictures of a different place...

in the same walkin place i do most of my sport in ,,, there is a Hard Rock Cafe... and it's the only one in Kuwait.. well,, it looks weird,,, the food is ugly ( i've tried it ) ... and it loses here coz it had no Dancin shit and stuff... ok Music is there ,, but no Live Bands,, no dance floor... ONLY food.. ! :p ... hahaaha... yea,, sorry for this Hard Rock,, but you SUCK ! ...

yeahh ,, slept like 3.15,, woke up at 6.30 today.. and i was dead tired but couldnt sleep...

i had  2 reports to do to a lab class.. after that, i went straight to play a soap soccer game with my friends in the college.. and yea,, i got fucked up .. i was hit alot !hahaha... i mean who leaves the ball and come sliding straight to your knee !! hahaha ,, and you can just laugh on people runnin and slipping.. it was crazy... and i scored like 4 or 5 goals... but i was hit like 700 times.. ! it's somehting similar to this pic

this time it was " Casper & Gambini's " ...and yea,, it was a GREAT PLACE... like the best cafe ever to study... and i guess the best to practice my 2nd hobby.. Taking Photos ! you can look at this one,,,

i mean.. on Wed mornin .. it was so great.... nice cloudy weather and every1 is happy... in the afternoon it rained,,, and it was dusty... at the same time.. !!! .....

then it was windy all night..

woke up today at around 1 pm... and the sky was yellow.. !! it was so fuckin dusty !!

and it was like this all day from the early mornin till the time of writin this post... :P

i was drivin and i couldnt see the lights of the care like 500 metres away from me... !! and it was so scary... a foggy dust... and yet,,, it happened.... i hope you dont live to see this weather in ur lives people...  

but we played a soccer game.. i was forced.. !! i didnt want to ... but we won... i made an assist.. ;)  and almost had a fight with a bitch from the other team.. hehehehe ... !!!
